Antidoron Bowl with Enamel Decoration

Beautifully crafted handmade Andidoron Bowl with enamel decoration used for Holy Prosphoron Bread.  (Bowl is a one piece item - there is no bowl lid.)

The bowl is used to hold the leavened unconsecrated bread.   Andidoron bread comes from the remains of the prosphora bread cut during the Orthodox Divine Liturgy.  Ἀντίδωρον means "instead of gifts", referring to the Eucharist gifts.  The Andidoron tray disc is used in churches to hold the andidoron bread.
